I'm not real happy with how these shots came out because of the lighting, but here they are anyway...

Yea, had to do the struts!! I wasn't sure if they could be done but sent them anyway, I was thrilled when they came back chromed. Those are actually my favorite parts that got dipped, besides the heat shield for the headers

I am taking a summer class and have a job but I spend an insane amount of time outside working on the car when I'm not at school or work (basically from 6pm to 9pm everynight). Having weekends off is the **** too, gives me tons of car time!!

i noticed that you polished just the front half of your intake manifold...did you do it on the car.....(without removing it?)

Good job...how did they chrome the hood struts without destroying it.

Yea I did the manifold on the car, without removing it.

As far as the hood struts go....the entire struts were dipped, they were not opened up. The chrome on the pistons made them a tiny bit stiffer than before but nothing major....they still work fine

If you dont mind me asking, how is the pricing set when getting that stuff chromed? Is it by piece or weight or does it all depend on products? TIA

An intake is usually about $200.00 including stripping of powdercoating and sanding and then depending on the amount of brackets and bolts and whatever else it goes up from there. Final pricing is not known until the chrome stuff actually gets done, a general estimate is usually given before hand. Usually takes about 2-3 weeks, sometimes long (sorry tony). Intake manifold and valve cover run around $425.00 together or $265 and $225 independantly. It's better to get as much done at one time to conserve costs... When big stuff gets done the brackets and bolts usually get thrown in.
