cutting springs

Umm, I know people don't reccommend this...... But I was wondering I am going to get AGX shocks and install them next Sunday. I am not going to put any lowerign springs and I am going to put 18's on. I was was wondering if I could cut my OEM springs and if so what can I cut them with.

Just make sure you know what you're getting yourself into, it's always good to be informed:

my sprints are cut and it rides rougher, but nothing i can't handle...i wouldn't cut stock springs though, just save up the 130 for sprints and put em on.

my old friend cut his stock springs and the car rode just like my old H&R setup. Word of advice, if i were to cut the front, cut from the bottom and for the rears definitly cut the top coils. He had his cut about 2 coils all around riding on 18's and that gave him a 2finger gap all around.

I myself have Sprints and cut the rear 1 and 3/4 coils to even it out and it rides mint! and my AGX's play a big part in the ride too.

I have cut intrax front springs, I already cut stock coils on a car and the car rode pretty sh!tty, dont know if it was because the shocks were stock and possibly shot. Just letting you know, get sprints or something before going that route.
