ok

im gonna send out sample fuel rail tomorrow or Weds for the guy to check out. Hopefully pricing will be under $100 per set. Im gonna get more info on this soon. I few people showed interest in the performance part of the fuel rails. SOme people showed interest in the Looks of the fuel rail. I juss wanted to know who wants them. Most likely the more the cheaper.

How quickly can you get it? My car is going into the shop in two to three weeks. They are going to be taking my manifold off so I want to get it done at once. If I can get a red one in less than three weeks, I'm in.

I am interested if there are gains

Greetings,

I would be interested in joining if there are gains to be had with the new fuel rail. About a month ago, I saw a program on TNN about tunning an Acura. They performed a complete after-market upgrade of the engine basic components. One of such was the fuel rail, fuel regulator and associated braded hoses (with alum. fittings). There was particularly, a fuel distribution and connection part (returns, high/low pressure), that I missed (I had to go...) I wish I saw the entire show (If any of you saw it and know haw to get a copy of the program would you let me know? that would be great)
On the topic of upgrading the fuel distribution, there might be a need to upgrade the fuel filter and also the pump. In escense a fuel source upgrade (of the most important components). This means that the ECU migh not comply with the upgrade as it would attempt to maintain a fuel-air mixture and perform compensation control of the engine rev with mixture along with power curve fitting and impose the limits imparted by the US transportation office and so on.
Have you guys thought of upgrading the fuel pump, filter, hoses, fuel rail and adding a regulator?
My intuition tells me that if the ECU complies (specially the post-market enhanced ones) with the upgrade, the combination of a Pop charger or Stillen High-Flow or a CAI, with a Y pipe and other exhaust component upgrades, it will create a monster! A fire brething machine.
Although it may make you poor (you might have to get a second job to pay for gasoline)
What is your take guys? (opinions, experiences, insight, knowledge sharing, concerns, secrets, confessions, gosip, etc. are encouraged).

The fuel rail will help guys that are running->

NOS dry kit, supercharger and turbo. Since all the addition fuel are added via the fuel rail to the injectors. Most of the NOS guys already have upgraded fuel pumps and fuel pressure regulator. They are running around 80psi at WOT, stock is at 43psi. The SC comes with a fuel management unit which is like a FPR. Anyway, the fuel rail will do no good to anyone that are NA unless you have a built motor that's pushing over 250hp with a tuned ECU. I really don't need it, but if it's around $80. I might as well get it because some day I might switch to SC.

im glad there is some good response and interest in this. Ill be sending the fuel rail to him as soon as possible. They can make the flow rate basically at anything we desire.

Install time.....Front rail/injectors arent too hard. The problem is the rear rail/injectors. The Manifold will need to be removed to get access to the rear ones.
