intake: 295-310mi/tank
y-pipe: 315-330mi/tank
muffler: 330-350mi/tank
all statistics are based on 50% local 50% highway.

Dude how are you going to pass your Smog test? Just swap out the straight pipe w/ stock?
I noticed you're a member of the norcal.maxima.org website.

it's 4 bolts for the straight pipe. shouldn't take too long to swap back to stock cat.

Mods that improve the engine's breathing efficiency should improve fuel economy. A super or turbocharger will lower mpg because their purpose is to increase fuel consumption. But the best mpg raising mod I did was the tranny conversion. I went from 24 mpg to 27 mpg, combined city and highway.Originally posted by happyricefob

My mileage has gone up considerably with all my mods as well. I can push over 400 miles per tank on the freeway and around 350 city or so.
