Changing Fuel Filter

Can someone tell me how to change it and where is the fuel filter on a 2001 Maxima???? How often should it be changed. My car has 37K miles.

It's not the easiest thing in the world, but its underneath the rear seat and is part of the fuel pump. I'm still trying to find the replacement filter, and I think I may have to go through Nissan to get it...

you really dont have to change it that often as the regular out of tank filters

I know nissan says its maintenace free...but I believe anything is maintenace free.

Is there a way to know when youre supposed to replace it? I bought my car used at 67k miles and I have a feeling the lady that owned it didnt replace it at 60 since im getting 280-300 miles per tank...
