Carrera, I believe and if it was a Skyline, the steering column would be on the other side.

Yeah, that is a Civic racing a porsche. The only way that thing can keep up would be if it had a turbo and/or NOS, maybe even a new imported engine.

#1: it's a Carrera.

#2: it's a supercharged Civic.

#3: they're not all-out racing. If they were, supercharged or not the Porsche would slaughter the Civic.

Here's what it is

I don't think the porsche would "Slaughter" the civic
1. The civi most likely Turbo charged because of the intercooler in the front. Yeah, it's an SI
2. That is just a regular porsche...meaning it's only putting out 296 HP and assuming the Civic has other mods besides a turbo, it is definately keeping up with the porsche.

What's the name of that new movie coming out in march 28,
the one with all the imports crashing and stuff.

I don't think it was called redline anymore.

Member from clubsi.com has that car

It was a member on there that has that Civic. Highly modified (turbocharged) Civic SI. It was a true race, the director didn't make it seem like it was that fast, it was that fast.

I don't know what it was

but I do know that the movie sucked. I knew there wouldn't be a good script or anything, but I thought at least you'd see some good chases. They built up the Shelby Mustang and saved it for last and the chase was pretty lame. All those nice cars couldn't even make the movie decent. Of course, the babe was worth watching.

A scene like that was most likely enhanced, perhaps completely replaced, by studio sound-effects. BOVs and turbo spool can be easily added afterward. Such is the magic of the movies.

The movie was aiight IMO, but it definetly could've used some more high speed chases. Now the Fast and the Furious is supposed to be all about that. Can't wait to see it. Imagine how many ricers are gonna be in the parking lot opening night.

Laughable. Any civic almost beating a Porsche is laughable. The 2001 Carerra 4 in the movie, would easily out run the Civic. Wow, that is a truly funny comment.

Even if the civic was turbocharged, the porsche would outperform it ad I also believe that the Porsche had over 300 HP, although torque is what really matters.

It's possible if it's heavily modded.
a 911 C2/C4 does low 13's in 1/4m, when I watch races at E-town, Civic with a turbo don't just run 13's like that, you need more mods than that.
