well other than regular and full maintenance there is only one thing that i personally think is a good idea to do when a car is getting older. There is no like researched proof for this but i am quite sure it is right. When the engine ages friction take off little shaving of moving engine pieces. Oil helps prevent this but it still happens. So as the car gets older it could use extra protection from the oil to protect the larger holes that have been created betweent the moving parts from the aging of the car. This is why i recommend thicker oil for an older car, perhaps a 10W-40 if you use 5W-30 or something like that. The thicker oil will be able to fill the larger spaces an old engine has better than a thin oil.

I believe that 75k miles is the most recent schedule maintenance interval...

...so you should change your oil and filter, check hoses & belts, and check your spark plugs. A tire rotation may be in order, top off your fluids and that should do it!

Make sure you have your timing belt checked. My friend has a 2nd gen (1988). only had 90K miles on it (mind you this was just last year), mint condition, I kept telling him to get the timing belt checked, he kept forgetting. I was with him when it snapped...

He has a brand new engine in it now
