Do you guys think $200 to $250 is a good price for a custom 2.5in catback?

I called a known local shop and this is what they quoted me until they see the car in person. The guy I spoke to was really helpful so I may give them the job but I wan't to know what you guys are paying in your area for a custom exhaust.

Save your money and get the 2k+ muffler and have them cut out the nasty crush pipe behind the resonator. That's all you need if you're staying NA. Believe me, I've tried tons of different exhaust systems over the years.

Who are you using... Lou's Custom?? I would just cut out the stock resonator, and flat spots. Depending if you have a y-pipe or not, and what type of muffler you choose, I would put a 2.5" resonator back in. But leave the 2.25 from the fixed section, up to the muffler, it would be a shame to throw away stainless steel for no hp increase. If you have any questions ask, I used to work at an exhaust shop in the Boston area, so I have tried a few set-ups.
