Do you have to cut bumpstops with H&R springs
#2
Not that I know of...
It wasn't in the install instructions for H&R sport springs. When I installed Eibach and Intrax springs it was clear that the
bumpstops where to be cut..bold letters. I've helped 6 other maxima owners with there spring installs and H&R
are a good choice. I ran them for two and a half years with out any problems...bumpstops where uncut.

we always recommend cutting bumpstops when lowering a car. Either 1/4 1/2 or 3/4. You could cut less if you dont lower much.
I would think on softer springs you would get more suspension travel therefore making it more useful to cut bumpstops. Not cutting bumpstops shouldnt really cause any probs. you juss get less suspension travel, maybe harsher ride and may bottom out sometimes.
