come on guys
i know someone has tryed it. you guys with powerfull stereos couldn't possible power it properly with a 110 amp altornator. i need to know before it blows again, the guy at the shop said it's only a matter of time. i'm getting pissed listening to the stereo with the volume down to minimize the draw on the altornator, so help me out please.
i'm using a 1800watt amp for the bass and i also have a computer in there for mp3, tracking, etc.. so if you can tell me how i can power all this with out changing the altornator that would help too.

Find a phoenix gold authorized dealer and ask about alternator packages. They are not cheap! But it will stop your problems. Also consider a multiple battery system with an isolator, This setup is lots cheaper, and will provide decent results. Also use a large capacitor on the bass amp, it will help with the sudden current draw created by deep bass notes.
