Window Tint and Rear Defrost...

Is this a bad thing to turn on the rear defrost when you have the rear window tinted???????

Nope, Once youve waited 24hrs for the tint to dry up, you can turn on the rear window defroster.

I heard if you have the metallic reflective tint, that if you turn on the defroster, it'll mess up the tint.

That's just what I heard.

Not true.


Going on two cars now with metallic tint...never any problems.

It helps dry out the bubbles of air/water in the tint when it's first put on.

i never had any problems and most of my cars that i had all had tint.
