TEIN Super Street Coilover System for 5th Gen Maxima/i30
Here's an brief outline of the coilover kit:
* 16 levels of damping force adjustment (compression and rebound together).
* Ride height adjustable.
* New paint coating for rust prevention.
* Pillow ball mounts are optional (on certain applications).
Contents of damper kit:
Adjustable shock absorber x4, Main spring x4
Lower spring seat x4, Seat lock x4, Thrust washer x4
Bump rubber x4, Dust cover x4
Hook spanner x2, Instruction manual
More info on TEIN's website: http://tein.com/ss1damp.html
Instruction manual available here: http://tein.com/ti/inst/kp20u.pdf
TEIN EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) is available for this setup for $400.00 shipped
EDFC makes it possible for the driver to control the damping force by controlling a motor installed in the shock absorber while being seated in the driver's seat. Since the damping force can be manually controlled with ease to meet different situations, the driver can enjoy variations in the suspension setting. For more info, check: http://tein.com/edfc.html
TEIN MSRP PRICE for the Coilover System: $1250.00 +shipping
Groupdeal (minimum 10 buyers): $1125.00 SHIPPED (add $25 for Westcoast b/c I'm based out of NY)
Groupdeal ends Sept. 24th. I will ask all interested buyers to post payment (or deposit) on the last week of Sept.
Pickup available for local NYC/NJ people.
Installation Cost is $150 through Initial D Auto Salon in Brooklyn, NY.

Groupdeal price is $1125 SHIPPED to Hotlanta
You and I both know that GC's are halfass coilovers. They are noisy and bouncy (depening on the setting). I remember doing a groupdeal on GC's over a year ago and half of those guys on the groupbuy resold their GC's because of this. TEIN superstreet amper kit is complete strut/spring assembly where the strut is designed to handle the drop. For specs, check out Tein's website.
Thanks!!

Tax ID will get you jobber price at best, nothing more.
Buy-in is typically required if you want WD price.

(
tax ID #
)Im sure you can get them through Tein directly, but here is the "little" catch that the big name compaines usually throw at you. The sometimes want a minimun $10K buyin first purchase in order for you to get that price, some even require $15-20K so thats the reason most of the time you will see them being sold in groupdeals, with 10-20+ people thats buyin $ can be met w/o some1 having to go out an a limb and spend that much dough on 10+ sets of coil-overs only to hope they can sell them all.
Ange is 100% correct though, the tax ID will usually get you a jobber price which isnt really anything special. WD is the one you want (Alot of $$$) but its gonna give you the largest % off.
if you want coil over $1000 is not gonna cut it. unless you find an insane hook up.
nismo i talk to a tein rep at D1 drift contest and basically a coil over for A32 the response was when hell freezes over but not in those direct words.
still waiting on those CF eye lids ange.

What pieces in the kit change to make the fit?
Wasn't Cattman modifying 4th gen AGX's to work on 5th gen's? Wonder if you can reverse the process.
I saw a set up on the rack at Tein's display at NOPI. They look almost identical to 4th gen suspensions. Since the upper plates are not a part of the setup, I'm wondering if one could custom make the plates and it would fit on a 4th gen. The lower mounts look identical, but without actually test fitting a set, you can't be sure.
