I would like to get the factory "wood" pieces for my Maxima, but it is a 5 speed. However, I just found a totaled 96 I30t 5 speed (what a shame...such a beautiful, rare car...) and I think the shifter/radio pieces same. Am I correct? I don't want to drive an hour for nothing...Thanks...

I believe the shifter trim, audio panel trim, and 4 door trim on I30 are the same as Maxima. But I doubt that the AC control panel would fit on a Maxima GXE (Auto Climate Control vs Manual Control). Can anyone else confirm it?

I have both a 95 5spd and 98 I30T 5spd and the dashes are different between the years. For one the I30/GLE have a 1 touch slide out tray which is different then the one you have which just snaps open. What Hercules said is also true about the climate control. As for the shift **** it is the same as my 95 Max's.

Thanks...I know the dashes are different. All I want are the shifter and radio surround piece, like a GLE would have.
