body scrub? They have so many products it's hard to tell which is the right one, but I've got some stuff on my car that can even seem to survive an application of "cleaner/wax" which gets alot off.
So now I'm going to try body scrub which is supposedly mildly abrasive but safe for clear coats. I'm not sure how this is different than polish, but I think it's more abrasive than polish.

Never tried body scrub. But, I have used Meguiars products. They are very good in my experience. Before you try something abrasive, go with a fine-cut cleaner. Try Meguiar's Mirror Glaze products Fine Cut Cleaner. It has a very light abrasive. Then, use a light polish like Meguiars Show Car Glaze #7, then finish up with Meguiars #26 hi-tech yellow wax. All these product come in tan colored bottles and can be found in automotive stores. Meguiars mirror glaze products are better than their other ones that come in the maroon bottles. If you can find those, get them.
Good Stuff
I have used the three step system, the body scrub is not too harsh. It takes out blemishes caused by bird poop, etc. with a little elbow grease. Follow with a polish and wax. I use Gold Class Prep & Swirl Reducer followed by Gold Class Wax. The Gold Class wax does seem to last longer than the regular wax. I havent used Mirror Glaze products but I am sure they are very good also.
Zaino
I have used McGuiars and someone here told me to try the Zaino system. It's a lot of work to do it right but I was really pleased with the way it came out. Very shiny and nice. (Their tire dressing is just Armor-All, so skip that part)

I use Meguiar's "Quick Detailer" spray quite a bit. Once you have a good wax or Dri-Wash coat on your car, it's easy to keep your car looking "just washed" with this touch-up cleaner. It's great for random bird poop, and bugs too.
I mentioned DriWash because I've been using it for 6 years, and it is incredible stuff! The only drawback is it is only available through they're "independent distributors", which is essentially a MLM network. I fell for it years ago! at least I learned about the product which is great stuff.
I also use Meguiar's Plastic Polish on my interior dash lens...it looks crystal clear, and repels dust.
It's Sunday in Orlando... car safely ensonced in the garage waiting for the staorm to pass ;-)
