w00t UPS! New rims came *pics*

Finally after over 3 years i decided it was time to change rims, i went with G-Games Wolf Gunmetal rims made by Rays the maker of Volks. The rims are 18x7.5 with a polished lip, i think they look gorgeous, hopefully more pics tomorrow with them on the car. Gotta get the new tires mounted on them as well.

i am not sure what the rims weigh because i don't have a scale but i can easily lift them up with a couple of fingers, if i had to guess, sub 20lbs for sure because my old rims were 21lbs a peice and they were much heavier(unless i got a lot stronger :P ) I went with Continental Xtremes 235/40/18, the reasons i went with these tires is because they have the best snow rating and although i don't plan to drive in the snow a lot, its always a possibility. no more 16's for winter, they won't clear a BBK which is the next mod.

I love those rims! I would have gotten them if it wasn't for the price and the skinny width.

That's funny, they are all laid out like they're people or something! I don't generally put rims on my furniture, but that's just me I guess.

Are the lips SUPPOSED to be blue like that, or is that some kinda protective covering? In either case, those are pretty nice-looking rims ya got there. I'm not too particular about 5-spoke rims, but Ray's is some of the best quality rims out there. You made a good choice, and I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say that we can't wait to see 'm on your ride.

Nice wheels! I didn't know that the G-Games came with a polished lip...I just got in a set of Volks for another car in gunmetal w/polished lip too.

BTW what BBK are you planning on getting?

Those were one of my final decisions of wheels. The only thing I didn't like about them was the big G-games tatoo on the spoke. They look sharp and will look hot on your color max
