I have a 95 SE 5 speed Max and for the past couple months I have been getting an annoying shuddering when accelerating...

I went to the Nissan stealership to get it checked out and the guy said my passenger side shaft is aftermarket and there is too much play in it which is causing the shuddering...so I checked it myself and the shaft does have some play in it but not much. Is there supposed to be any play in the cv shaft where it connect into the transmission? or is this guy trying to rip me off??
