New personal record at the track...

...for the lowest number of runs made in 7 hours. 2 runs to be exact. I was in an import only bracket class that they just started, probably would have had a good chance at winning too, but the night got called because the track got too wet as the night wore on and they couldn't get cars to hook.

Anyhow heres they stats on my runs, I was doing pretty well, highest traps I've had since last spring. All runs were made full interior. Race weight 3020 on the first pass and 2990 on the second pass. First pass was street tires second pass was slicks.

street tires---Toyo T1-S w/ 17" SSR Comps
approx 74 degrees 55% humidity
60' 2.225
330 6.084
1/8m 9.216 @ 78.54mph
1000 11.916 @ 91.26mph
1/4 14.198 @ 99.98mph---best MPH since last april when it was 40 degrees out and at a faster track and with stripped interior, this time with full interior
Run was against a new Evo that ran 13.85 @ 98.90mph on a 1.85 60' His best of the day was 13.67 @ 100mph

slicks
approx 65 degrees 66% humidity
60' 1.909
330 5.667
1/8 8.772 @ 78.95mph---I think this is my highest 1/8 trap ever
1000 11.468 @ 90.16mph
1/4 13.745 @ 99.13mph---best ET since april when I was at a faster track with stripped interior and 40 degree weather

So that was my night at the track that I paid $25 for.

Yes I still have aim I just never go on anymore. For your car without MEVI or 7000rpm redline I would suggest a 26" slick so you don't have to worry about the shift to 4th. If you had ECU and MEVI I'd say a 24.5" slick. A little shorter than stock. I will sign on aim right now for a minute to see if you are on.

Nah they aren't that fast, a little quicker than me because of AWD but its a pretty good race between us, our trap speeds were almost identical (his best was like 100.02 and mine was 99.98. This guy was a pretty good driver, 1.85 60' times were his average. He weighed the car too and it was 3260 with him in it and he said he was 140 so about 3020 without him. Nice guy, I hung out with him for the rest of the night at the track since I made the trip by myself this time.

I must say the weight of the EVO doesn't make much sense. Every source lists the US-spec EVO at 3263lb or 3293lb with the power moonroof. I can only assume these are the listed "wet" weights. Figure this guy was running 1/4 tank (~3 gallons) and no spare or jack, the car would still weigh 3150lbs WITHOUT him (spare/jack 30 lbs, 11 gallons less fuel ~80lbs). It looks to me as if the scales aren't right or this guy was yanking your chain. One of the local EVO guys in KC weighed his EVO and it came in around 3370lbs which included a 180lb driver and 1/4 tank of fuel.

*edit*

Never mind. I looked at your post again and your math was wrong. Instead of 3020lbs, it should be 3120lbs without him. That makes more sense assuming he yanked the spare/jack and had minimal fuel and no moonroof.
