He may have been talking about the 2K, much heavier and less nimble.
you still have to push it to understeer, but it's there, especially in the wet with the OH!-so wonderfull RE92.

Your explaination is 100% right if you reverse the understeer and oversteer terms in your paragraph. ie.. the maxima is set up to UNDERSTEER ie.. plow from the factory..

Decreased?? That's not true. The Maxima's suspension is set up to oversteer at the limit from the factory, they do this because it's easier to recover from that kind of skid, therefor it safer. Adding a RSB will make the car less prone to oversteer and even understeer in some cases, this increases the handling limits of the car but makes it more difficult to correct when a skid does occur. There are several other factors invlolved but this is all of an explanation I feel like typing right now.

But getting back to the original reason for this thread. Does anyone have numbers?
I am going to be heading in for at least both STBs and possible the sway, in the spring summer. I won't see the difference when running winter tires and I would like to see the diff.

I don't think anyone will be able to give you hard #s. The car that motor trend tested was a stillen car I think. So it has other mods besides the basic boltons most of us have. But let me tell you. FSTB, and RSB. Must have! =)

I seem to recall that you could use a G-tech(?) to measure lateral g-forces. I read that the bracket is a bit of a pain to setup sideways. I know some of you guys have one of these accelerometers. All you need is an empty parking lot.

Previous SMX testing included an SMX with the 300zx brakes; which turned lower braking distances than the Big Brakes.
Also absolute skidpad grip had went down. Oversteer was increased, that's why the MT writer probably liked the RSB
