He claims to be making a 11.3 second 1/4 in a supercharged/nitrous max... and we all know how hard it was for Mardi to do a 11.99, how does this guy figure to beat Mardi by .7 seconds? I also like his "custom made engine"... I didn't know Nissan makes custom made engines.. he must have a VQ30DES... Anyone care to e-mail him, cuz I know he's not on the org.

Personally, I wouldn't know what to do with 23 fenders... perhaps some of you do??? I only have 2... I bet stacking them on top of each other is good for some gains.
I've never heard of a HKS DLI Ignition that is being sold by Stillen for the Maxima, though I may be wrong.
what the fk... do you mention your car emblems when you sell your car?
I was unaware that Maxima's have multiple fuel pumps... perhaps someone else can enlighten me.........

I'm gonna do this JUST for the sake of argument....

If he ACTUALLY was pushing out that much power, and he used some slicks, it's possible to get an 11.3.

But since there's no way for HIM to be getting that much power, it doesn't really matter. Did anybody else notice that he doesn't have any shocks listed? Must ride terrible like that. Since I'm not a boost guy, does 15 PSI really equal 480 hp? If he's measuring at the crank, it sounds somewhat possible.......about 400 whp.....

 

If im not mistaken, wasnt that car for sale out of the boston, ma area last time it was on ebay???

yeah he runs 11.3's and I run 10s', whatever, also he needs to be asked how many quarts of oil does the filter sucks in thru that hose and that nasty pankcake filter and into the blower? such BS

He has no pictures of the whole engine bay..I see a picture of each side but not the supposed built engine..anyone else notice he still has the us intake manifold...hmm......

It has Ford and power? Pistons done with the rings? That's good, I suppose. The valve that are aluminum? Aluminum valves? WTF?

Somebody translate this for me. It's been too long since I was in a public school.

 

If he is talking about aluminum valves in the heads then he is full of crap. Those things would not be able to handle the stress. I can see titanium but not aluminum.

The pistons better have rings otherwise he would be getting a lot of blow bye and would have no compression. I guess there could be a company out there called Ford and Power that makes pistons for the motor but if he is claiming that he has Ford Power pistons in there he is full of even more crap than you guys have already said, because the bore of the 4.6 is a lot larger than what he would be running.

About the fuel pumps thing, that is understandable. I know quite a few people that are running dual pumps, one in tank and one in-line. It really isnt a bad thing if you have nitrous and a hair dryer. You would really hate to run lean with that much air going into the motor.

Any word on the time slip or a dyno sheet? I would be curious to see if that is actaully what he is making, although I know full well he is full of crap. My other car is a 355 that is only making about 400 hp to the ground. Slap a blower on there and it would be near 500. So I find it hard to swallow he is making that much, without going to a full on racecar.
