generation II Altezza lights

Hi Friends,

I plan to install altezza tail lights on my 1999 maxima. But I intend to put Generation 2 Altezza lights. I need help from you people about that.

1. Has anybody installed gen II altezza lights? Experiences good or bad?
2. Are they reliable - atleast as reliable as the regular altezzas?
3. What are you thoughts on installing Altezza lights
4. There are three types available - chrome, gun metal, carbon fibre - Which do you think goes well on a dark blueish grey maxima?

Here are the links with images -

Chrome - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2435081311

Gun metal - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2434951632

Carbon fibre - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2434453510

Thanks in advance

go with the gunmetal.. most people aren't going to like them on here, but I have them and like them.. they look sweet at night. get some orange leds for the blinkers though, having actual orange bubls in there makes them look like garbage imho..

yeah, the only thing I didn't like about the amber blinkers was that they made the whole silver part look yellow.. they sell those chrome amber bulbs on ebay.. but I hadn't heard of them so I got the led's.. either way, the lights look good

yeah, i had originally ordered the silver-coated yellow bulbs, but they don't fit the sockets in the taillights....must've been made for japanese models or somethin'.

I got a set in C/F but the gunmetal ones will probably look nicer. I put the red LEDs in for the signals and they look awesome. Better than orange IMO. I've nothing but good comments from people. Even ones who are quick to call any cosmetic mod on a japanese car RICE.
