I am currently looking at a privately owned 2k gle loaded in excellent condition...the bad thing is it has 76580 miles on it...is 9 to 10 k too much to pay for a used maxima with that many miles on it. I know the seller and it has been treated like a baby.

 

i dunno bout the mileage.... got my 2k w/ 29k fully loaded (except heated seats) for 15,900 total..... so..... w/ 2x much mileage.... and.....6 thousand off...... i dunno, its ur call. i have heard maximas lasting 200k miles easily w/ good treatment (ive heard) so its upto you

 

This car is worth at least 12 grand on the wholesale, and dealer would put it on the lot for 14-15 grand. It is still a 3 year old car. If you can get it for less than that, jump on the deal.

 

THat seems to be a fair price for a car given the mileage if it was treated as well as you say it was......

Chances are that oil wasn't changed every 3k miles but every 3 months...

 

what would too much be to pay for that many miles

 

i paid 13k for my 00 with 71k on the odo. every single option + it is immaculate. service records etc as well + 6 month dealer warranty (no i did NOT get it from a nissan dealer, i am not stupid).

 

If you can get it for 10 thats a good deal but more like 12.

Wow! Looking at this thread it seems like I got a great deal! I bought my 2K SE for $12,500. It had 28K miles, fully loaded with heated leather, sunroof, and 17" wheels. The dealer had an overstock on Maximas and was willing to get rid of them!
