2000 SE Manual 5spd

i have gotton a 2000 SE 5Spd Manual (loaded with leather, heated seats, sun roof, etc) in Canada for

$15, 2000 USD (approx, $20,500 CDN).
54K miles (85K kilometres).

From a dealership or private party? Overall, I would say that is an average deal- not bad but not good........

To put it in perspective, I sold my loaded 2000 SE 5 speed with 48K for $14,200.

Take it from someone who doesnt have a manual (me) and cant get one . BUY that car! Take very good care of it and it will be well worth when it is running like a champ at 150,00 miles...

We paid $15,500 for our 2000 SE 5spd about 15 months ago.Iit had 72,000 miles on it, and we bought it from a dealer. They were asking $19,900, you just have to play their game. Buying at the end of the month works well too! They were 'bottom line' at $16,000, we were working $15,000; they called us at 3:00pm (I had to work at 3:30pm) on the 31st of July and told us $15,500 cant go any lower. We drove out there quickly, and I drove the car to work as my dad was doing the paper work.

Maxima's tend to hold their value pretty well around here, well not right now though . At the time the going rate was about $17,400, generally with the same miles or lower, one or two higher. It was an excellent deal at the time.
