have all parts but not stock wiring for fogs in 95 gxe, someone help me figure out...

well, first i'd like to state that i'm an idiot. when i looked under my bumper i thought i saw the plugs for my fogs taped up. turns out, there was only one plug and it's not for my fogs.

i bought all the parts, stalk (already installed), lights themselves, mounting brackets, and a relay. now, i've read quite a few times that the car is wired up to the relay from the stalk lever which as i said i've already installed. so, i hope now that all i need is to do some wiring to get the fogs to work.

i'd really like to use these and not have to sell them but i'm nervous about wiring to the relay. can anyone tell me some solid advice on how to wire to the relay, and/or if this is possible? i know you can wire aftermarket fogs so i'm hoping this is just as, if not, easier, than that. i really appreciate anyone taking the time to read this and help. thanx!

Can you verify that when you turn on the fog light, the fog light relay actually click? That will confirm that your car is wired to the relay. Then it just a matter of hooking the power to the relay and the relay output to the fog lights. I remember there is a fuse for the fog light, don't forget to include that in the power path.

dosent it suck having a stock stock max.. I had the same problem
all you have to do is run the wiring from the relay to the lights, the rest is there. Basically connect both the lights in to parallel ground the two lights to the body and run the power wire from the fogs to the relay i beleive its the orage and black wire from the relay.

what sort of wire should i use? a certain gauge(sp?) and how should i connect it to the fogs themselves? when you say the orange and black wire from the relay, what do you mean? is that the color of the wires from the lever inside the car, to the relay? on a scale of 1-10, how hard would you say this is? i've never really done wiring aside from changing harnesses on headlights. thanx a lot

and unclemax, yes, when i put the relay in and turn the ****, it does click so it is getting power. now i guess i just have to do what kashoggio said. that's the part i fear now.

well for me its not hard at all (ase certified in electrics ) but for a novice it might be
I would use 16 guage wire , that should be more fine. ok to break it down for you. THe switch wiring is there so dont touch that . Go to where you put in the relay. Take out the replay and you will see what I am talking about. You have to run a wire from the orange /black wire to the foglights . You might have to take out the relay box so you can splice in to the wire. if you ahve any more questions just pm me.
