it brings the exhaust gases from your cat to your muffler. most people replace it with a after market one(stillen,courtest or custom) or a full cat-back system. the factory one has a crappy design (its crimped)

 

it will be a little under $200. it frees up the exhaust flow

 

or can i juust keep the stock ...

The B-pipe will help free up flow from the cat to the muffler. You can get the B-pipe for around $200 + install. Or, for around $25 you can go to a muffler shop, have them cut out that ridiculous crimp out & replace it with a 2.5 section of tubing & achieve essentially the same result.

i understand more air flow ... but what will it put out for me in the sense of more power..
