I was driving my car today and the bolt on my B&M STS came undone. The car is stuck in second gear right now and has no linkage to the transmission as far as I know. Where would the bolt had fallen? Would it be in the heat shield or did it probably fall onto the road. This isn't a problem with the STS, but when I was installing it I left the bolt not as tight as usual so that it would be easier to shift and never had the time to get it retightened. Any help, I will love you for life.

 

Your best bet would be taking it to a knowledgable mechanic.

 

I ain't no queer so no love from you is needed, unless you is a lady. The bolt is probably laying around under the shift boot and stuff. Look for it, if it's not there try to get a replacement at home depot or somewhere...
