Hey congrats Jay! Nice job! SSR Type Cs? Nice choice!
That's the colour that I wanted but way back when I bought mine the "Type C" lightweight SSF version was only available in Japan and only in white and gold.

Back on topic, now I can bug you with turbo questions! lol... your MEVI must be lovin' this!

Yummy. Who's turbo kit is that and who did the install? How much boost? Do you ever pipes clanking and/or vibrations from all the extra weight strapped to the motor?

no not at all. This is a PFI kit, I installed it myself, with the help of my brother and that kid BijanGXE. Turbo is a T4/T04E ball bearing, I am pushing 9.5PSI. Its plenty since I havea ll the torque I wanted.
The supra, those things are way over priced with over 100K people want more then $30K for them.

3 questions....
1. When are you taking it to the track?
2. When are you getting a bigger exhaust?
3. When can I get a ride?

track, maybe in three weeks, Id like to DYNO tune to up the boost etc..
3 inch exhaust I have not got to that yet. I am spooling 10.3 PSI, I can also shift at 6K. You will see the videos sit tight and stay tuned. Ill post the video in the boosted forum. That video will have my car supercharged VS 9.5PSI PFI kit turboed maxima, my maxima turboed vs 10PSI supercharged maxima vs a M3 and a WRX who almost broke his tranny trying to run me, I think he thought his car was messing up but that was not the case

Shifting at 6K? Shouldn't you be shifting way higher with MEVI + JWT ECU and now this?

You may be back and all five of us can run and compare. Speedymen, I dont like to shift at 6600RPMs. Youll see on the videos I posted. They are more comparison of me running against other people just for the org to see why are people jumping on the turbo wagon.

Ahh yes! And so the news emerges.

Yea, Jaime tells me he's selling his SC'er....I'm like WTF?

Then 1 week later I give him a call, he says - yea c'mon and stop by.

I see an intercooler sittin in a box....I was like HELL NAW!

It took us a good 4 days or so. Testing and TIGHTENING on the last day. One of the pipe clamps came loose so he had no boost at one point.

Then......his down pipe. HUNG LOW!! Scraping on EVERYTHING! We go back to Ricer Industries, jack up the car...then use another jack to try to push up the downpipe more. In the process....we think we may have damaged it. We're still not 100% sure.

Thanks for lettin me help Jay-Dog. Film time.

Wanna upload to the maximafreak.com server? Just let me know: joel@nospam.maximafreak.com (remove nospam to reply). I can make you an account and you can be uploading in no time. I can't guarantee my server will be fast all the time, but you can at least get one or two up.

I appreciate all you guys wanting to host the videos but the problem is I cant upload them to my computer they are stuck in the camcorder, I just went and purchased over $140 worth of crap to make it work. I thought it was the IRQ's conflicting but is not. My 2yr old kid grabbed a card with multiple USB outlets and thats exactly what I was looking for when I went to compusa. If you guys want the video I can hand it over like I did last time and someone can just hook it up to theirs. I got that Ulead 5.0 but is not detecting the card nor the DVC to the camcorder I have all these people awaiting with anxiety. Oss, what time do you get home Ill just come over
