Recent trip to Moscow and Maximas?

Went to Moscow last month and there is nothing to make you feel like home like being drivin around in a max!

So mini meet, moscow style I had to pop the hood...

http://www.confusedmax.com/moscowmax/engine.jpg

six cylinder, 2 liter.. hmmmmm mevi...

http://www.confusedmax.com/moscowmax/hookup.jpg

Triggered by the equivalent of our egrc solenoid... damn...

http://www.confusedmax.com/moscowmax/interior.jpg

take a look at next to the dash light dimmer.... it actually has a use somewhere else.. notice the matching radio trim..

Sorry, meant to take pics of the outside but never got around to it..

when i was in moscow i only saw one black 4th gen maxima that looks like what we have in the US. all the other "maximas" there are I30s, but they are called Nissan's and not Infinitis. (Might be actually called a Cefiro, but i forgot)

just curious, with the 2.0l VQ, is both the bore and stroke smaller? I'd assume it has the same 10.0:1 compression ratio. Cool pics either way.

I'm not sure which countries are RHD and which are LHD, but there are more countries that are LHD than RHD in Europe.

Cool pictures. After looking at the speedo, you can see how it goes up to 260 km/h, where is ours only go up to 220 km/h. I wonder what those red lines are for between 0-60km/h. I question whether or not that button with the fuel sign on it is for the fuel door release?

up on the dash by the phone? looks likes a switch...im guessing its the button to open. do they all come with those funky in car phones?
*edit* that sony stereo is pretty nice looking too, with the wood trim on all the small parts. also can anyone host the engine pic, or e-mail it to me none of the links work (pics are either broken, or load the first 1/4 inch and fail) thanks

and I just came back from a trip to Kiev, Ukraine. Saw some 3rd gens that look very much like US-spec, 4th gen that resembles 96-99 I30, and a 5th gen that is 2k+ I30. BTW were there any VQ35s in Moscow?

Looked at the full size pic... its a digital thermometer (outside temp) and it looks to also be a small trip computer by the markings. I don't know if it was functional as far as the trip computer but it does read the temp.

BTW, their maxima resembles our infiniti i30 in terms of body style

VQ35 were rare... I think I saw one.

European Russia is the small mass of Russian land west of the Ural Mountains, fronting Europe.
It is not a separate country, but rather called European Russia because of its political and cultural blending with European countries and peoples.
St. Petersburg and Moscow, (the capital) are located in European Russia. Regardless, the entire country is still considered a part of Asia/Siberia.
it's just like saying that Turkey is part of Europe.
