Is the walbro Fuel pump crap? I need advice

I am on my way to Sacramento and my girlfriend is driving my car and she is driving the car hard. Then she drives it regular and then the fuel pressure goes to 0 and the car won't start. There is no fuel going to the engine. I looked at the pump and it doesn't seem to be on for some reason.
It just died I think, but I don't understand what happened. What should I look at in my car? I am very worried!

The thing I am worried about was a mechanic looked at my nitrous kit and said that it was put on wrong. He made some changes in the hoses with the fuel jet and then my car had been acting wierd. It is harder to start. Then I put the walbro pump in and I had it for 3 months and there wasn't any problems. Fuel pressure was between 34 and 40 psi. Now my car died.

Any suggestions?
