Lotsa People B1tch1n About $h1tty Threads
Lately I have seen a few people posting threads in which they show their frustration for the lack of posts with any real subject matter. Tonight in the 5th gen. forum I posted a thread about the negative aspects of putting Koni Adjustable Struts on my car. I am worried about doing it becaue I thought I had seen somewhere that you have to cut something. I might wanna trade my car in for a 2002 ( I have a 2001) and I was wondering if this would hurt resale value or do you have to cut anything at all. AnyWayS... about a half hour after my post I checked back and I have 6 views and 0 replies. However there is a new post about Tim Allen Design, a company that mods mostly Caddys. HMMMM, a legitimate post about "damage" to a 5th gen gets nothing while a post about modding a Caddy is replied to. People are wondering why the threads have been so "weak" lately. I hate to ***** because I'm new here and don't know that much, but I try to make purtinent posts that help keep the info going.
Moe,
Don't get frustrated. Yes, there are some useless threads here from time to time, but if people know the answers to your questions, sometimes they'll answer and sometimes they won't. HOWEVER, at some point, another member may do a search for a problem they're having with THEIR Koni struts and be able to find you. Between the two of you, you never know -- you might be able to find the answer.
Sometimes you have to consider your posts here an investment. You're throwing something out there into the archives in hope that someone else might have your problem. Remember that some users only read the forums every now and then, so try to stay positive and please keep contributing valuable content. That's the meat of the site.
