Finally calling quits on modding - NO BS :-)

Well I know I have posted this before but then I bought a Supercharger. Had my fun time with it but now I have decided to call quits on the modding bug since I was spending way too much time and money on the max (believe me it was WORTH IT!). It was fun all this time but now I need to dedicate time and money towards my career. I have my Supercharger for sale along with other goodies so if anyone is interested let me know. I will still be on the org mostly everyday and you will surely see more junkyard parts for sale too. Max is not going any where and I am gona keep it how it looks MINUS the SPEED MODS.

Once again I really thank everyone on the org and my southeast folks for all the help they provided in modding this car. If org was not here then I prob wont have modded the max in the first place.

Thanks alot everyone :-)

what the ****.. i spent all that day saturday building you a badass trunk, FOR FREE, and you go and stop. i mean i know the trunk isn't the greatest and could use some work, but come on.. the car is badass, it can only get better.

this is me being sad.

Yours is one of my favorite 4th gens. As long as you're keeping the car, thats fine. Good luck with everything.

Wow, talk about a shocker....I honestly believed you the last time and then came to find out that you had a huge trick up your sleeve.

If you're truly serious this time, then dam.

You're calling it quits and I am just getting started, lol. Max goes in for a 5-speed and related goodies on 11/17

Well your car does look good. Sorry to hear about the speed mods going away. I hope it's just temporary.

You'll probably change your mind about it later down the road, and since you're working on your career, you'll probably have money to justify the cost of a boosted car then.

I hope that's what my future will end up being, anyways. Right now, no money for anything, so I guess its left to learnin' me an edukation.

NO!!!!!!!!

Sleep on it for a week. You have the cleanest 4th gen and the SC is very reliable. If this is about little gremlins that come up at the beggining of major mods we all go through that and get scared. The first thing you think is to return the car to stock and not worry about them anymore. But if you just stick it out and take care of the problems you will love your car and be glad you did (sorry if this has nothing to do with your situation.)

I hope that you are going turbo like a certain other black 4th gen on EVO's. Good luck on what ever you decide, but I really hope that you stay in the boosted club and then concentrate on your career.

What exactly motivated you to do this?

Your car is so clean and the boost just sets it off as a perfect max

if you really decide to go through with it, the maxima community needs more cars like yours to perfectly represent the harmony between beauty and power these cars can achieve.

Oss, come on! Why? Don't give in to all this political madness about not spending money on your car. Your car is awesome - (as you can see from what everyone else put)

That will be 1 less boosted ATL Maxima Oss - think of it

Actually I purchased the SC just to try it out and way back then I had my mind made up that I am going to sell it in few months. It was fun, I enjoyed every bit of it killing 350z, 540i, stangs etc.

Once again car is not getting parted out so everything will look the same. But once u pop the hood you wont see the blower (hopefuly someone will buy it).

I agree! I almost sold my car to concentrate on school and whatnot but a week and a half later I loved my car more than I ever have. Just wait a couple weeks.

Of course he is, he is hanging out with Jamie and Dixit, they have sold him on the turbo, baggs knows.

However this makes me question why he is selling his gauges and fuel managment too.

Could it be that he is actually giving up on boost?

He may be giving up on boost, but from what I know about oss.. it may be back... or it may never sell.

I just think it will be the MEVI all over again...with out him getting ripped off

Nope not at all. I dont know why every one thinks I am sold to Turbo. I have had runs with turbo cars and still have faith in my SC ;-)

My fav car is a SCed one (e55) so there is no way I will leave the SC world ;-)

Modding is fun but sometimes its better to quit and start over later on in the life :-D
