I have a question. Here goes:
the 95-96 SE rims are 6.5" width by 15" in diameter, while the 97-99 SE Max's have the 6.5" by 16" wheels. And from the board, I have read that people have put 225/ 55 16's on their stock rims. Well, if the 95,95 SE and the 97-99 SE's have the same width of 6.5", can one safely put on 225/55 15 tires on the 95,96 SE rims?
Or this is not possible? I know the stock 95,96 SE tires are 215/60 15", would this throw the suspension and everything else off?

=)

You should probably check with someone who actually knows about this (e.g. - Tirerack), but you may be able to use 225/60-15s.
