So I went to the track on halloween...
Blu, great times! Maybe I'll get over there one day and run at a good track to see what I can do after my mods. The track here is never prepped and the starting line is rutted all over. After the V8's run on it, there is always a heavy layer of rubber on the line that helps induce spin which is followed by wheel hop.
I'll probably try IRP next spring to see if I can hook. By then, I should have a set of DR's as well.
Way to represent!!!

My good friend Jackie was running 13.5 @ 105 in her all motor type r hatch with intake, exhaust, and chipped ecu. As for my track being faster yes it is but looking at Aarons times at yalls track he lost a little over 2 tenths and .78 mph from when he was running at fayetteville. So that would put me at around 13.9-14.0 @ 98 mph if I was to run there just for a little comparison to my knowledge. I know its not the proper way to compare but based on the info and real world knowledge thats what I come up with.
I don't doubt the slips at all and you run what you run, but I think that people should be aware that this is FAR from the norm for an auto 3.5 VQ with simple bolt-ons. Your dyno shows that you're really not making anymore power than any other NA 3.5 VQ 5th gen (auto or six speed). Most autos with your basic mods are getting 14.4-14.7s@93-95mph (leaning more towards 14.7 on average) where as you're a hefty .6-1.0 seconds and 3-6mph faster than these guys. I don't think Nissan is in the business of making factory freaks because their machining toleranaces are really close and again, your dyno suggests nothing "freakish".
Once a few other people at other tracks start posting the same kinds of ET/MPH you're getting, I'll be buying an auto 3.5 VQ 5th gen because I'll be able to look past it's styling defincies

All I know is org member Shaydz 02 auto with injen intake was only trapping 91-92 with 2.2 60's while the same day I was trapping 95-96 with pop charger and UDP. I dunno man Im really starting to think either these people can't drive an auto or my car is a little bit of a freak just as yours and neals times/mphs. Out of all the 4th gens that drag race I think 3 have trapped 98 or higher all motor, but I might be wrong.
I really hope it's true that a 5th gen 3.5VQ auto is capable of high 13s with very simple bolt-ons because it would be a nice compromise between cruiser and "bruiser". As sad as it sounds, I'm getting a bit tired of driving a manual. Nissan manuals are strong and the clutches are great, but the car is nearly impossible to drive smoothly (been driving manuals for 14 years). The gearing definately hampers above 85mph acceleration, but it's the 1/8 mile that makes the difference in ET. Your MPH isn't weak either. You're doing nearly 100mph and get consistent 98mph traps. That's nothing to worry about at all. I'd gladly trade some topend for a ton of useable 1/8 mile torque.
Like I said, when I see others gracing 13s with their NA 3.5 VQ autos, then I'll DEFINATELY consider one. I'm also be curious to see what the Technosquare ECU will do for this platform. Unfortunately the ECU won't be out for another 30-90 days.

Kloogs, when I went to North Carolina, folks out there prep their tracks. They go out there clean them out and spray some stuff on them. I had a broken MEVI and was pulling 2.0s 60fts pulling 13.8's @103. The problem was that torque steer was a b...ch. The car would pull left and right because of the compound they laid on the floor, tires would grip. He is using the same tires I use NT555's. I buy that tire because its made of a compound that does not wear down that quick.

. That 7100rpm redline will put you over 100mph traps.

Those are unreal numbers.. I believe you, as I don't think that you would lie about this, but I cannot understand why you are so much faster than every other N/A/non-NOS auto. I guess it helps that you are 140 pounds, and that you remove ~80 pounds from the car before you race, but that's still only about 120 pounds (counting a "regular" 180 pound driver) of difference from a "regular" Maxima, which is about .1-.2 seconds off of your ET. Oh well.. whatever it is that you are doing, you are doing well, so keep up the good work.
