HID question

Last night i noticed that one of my hids was not the same color as the other. My question is do hid bulbs change color after a while? I mean it went from the blue color to a white. If they do go bad who can i talk to to get 8k bulbs.

Ok let me get this straight...are you using OEM bulbs or an aftermarket kit? Either way with time bulbs do change color. Factory bulbs made by Philips, Hella, Etc will actually be more colorful after they fully "burn in". This could be 90 hours or more. That could be why one bulb is a different color. It has burnt in while the other hasn't. NOW if your not using factory bulbs then its a whole different story. The quality of kits on the market vary so much. It could be just about anything. If your bulbs are coated with something then that might be the problem. With aftermarket bulbs they have been known to change color after a year or more of use. My suggestion is to just buy two new bulbs. This way you can start fresh.

They are becoming very hard to find...also, you will need to make sure the connectors on the K2 bulbs are the same on the new ones. I'd start looking on ebay.
