Update: Electrical problem

My drain is gone, and my alternator issue is fixed.

I still have a short I believe, I keep blowing the damn 140A fuse.... they're expensive too - 13 bux from nissan

anyhoo...

new battery, new starter, new alternator

As soon as I put the battery in, I blow the battery fuse after much sparking from the battery terminal when i put the pos. wire back on.

I still have no power locks, no power windows, no intermittent wipers, no stereo, and no ac function.

help

Free Bump, you know I'll be down in December and we will get all the bugs out.

It sounds like you might have two exposed wires touching somewhere. Did you clean everything up after you disconnected your gauges? That was a wiring nightmare underneath your steering column.
