It wasn't so bad for me because I got PAID. The only bad thing was I got hit only 2 weeks after performing an engine swap/act install! arg!

I totalled a G20 (not at fault). T-Boned someone at ~35mph who ran a stop sign.

I totaled my 1997 GLE in November 2002. But I am happier now with my 2001 GLE.

Does This Sound Like It May Be Totalled.

Hey All,

I drive a SE 02 Maxima Pearl in Color..This guy in a 2000 Sivlerodo
ran into the back of my car he was going about 35mph. I swirved
to the left to avoid contact with the car in front of me..got slightly
clipped on the left..Moved back into my lane and a chevy bronco
sideswiped me on the right..

My CAR doesnt look that bad and I survived without a scratch.

My question is, should this car be totaled, there is a buckle in the
trunk floor on the right, the two front finders have small dings but not
major dents, DOES THIS SOUND LIKE IT MAY BE TOTALLED.

The collision shop says the PAINT is 3 stage and very expensive and
the car will have to re-shot. The bumper doesnt not even have a dent
but the its pushed in slightly and was shifted, front door panel left
will need to be replaced too.

I am soooooo depressed, I want my car but not if its has structure/frame damage..

Any advice out there..

My car got totaled after it got hit by a Toyota Spyder. Guy was drunk. The whole accident was practically history. Worst accident in about twenty years according to the cops that responded, sent me as well as all of my passengers to the hospital with serious injuries (I had a collapsed lung, my friend sitting behind me suffered brain damage), the passenger in the other car died right on the spot. There really is nothing like seeing a dead body in front of you and then turning around when you can't breathe and seeing your friends covered in blood.

Took me quite a few months just to drive again.

My 2001 Accord V6 got rear-ended big time and totalled by some idiot. That was more of a blessing in disguise though, and I did also get PAID!

My 1998 GLE was slammed into by the older Ford F-150 Truck (with the gray bumper). I was at a dead stop and he hit me square on at about 45 MPH. I was pushed forward 20+ feet into the back of a Chevy Malibu-sized car. Both the Max and the car I hit were totalled.

But as a testiment to the car, the rear doors were pinched shut, but other than that, there wasn't a scratch in the cabin. And everyone walked away from the accident with only minor injuries (like whiplash). I was definitely sad that day, but also was thankful that I drove a car that protected me so well.

A jeep ran up on the front of my car June 2002. Insurance totalled it, gave me $10,500, bought it back for $1500 and paid $3500 to get it fixed.

The title of this thread makes absoulutely no sense. My car isn't totaled but I have a dented front bumper on the right side...
