Air horn install q ----->
#1
I was thinking of mounting the air horns on the stock horn mount next to the engine and putting the compressor by the window washer fluid but the instructions say to keep it away from engine/exhuast heat....
Do you really think they would melt (the horns) next to the engine??

do you have dual or triple air horns? I used to have triple air horns and i mounted them in the front right fender area. Lots of room there. i mounted the compressor right next to the coolant resevior tank.

I mounted the air horn at the stock location ->
by the engine. I have the Hella dual air horns. There are two stock horns. One in front of the radiator and the other by the engine. I took the one by the engine off. I reused the stock mounting bracket/strap. I drilled one new hole and use the other existing hole to mount the two airhorns. I had to bend the metal strap alittle to fit both of them on. Finding a place to mount the compressor was the hardest part. I ended up zip tie it by the front. I can take a picture of my install if you want. It's a really clean install. Looks OEM =) I wanted the horns to fire toward the front. The stock location was the only place that I could find.

-Thanks, exactly what I wanted to know

-Didn't work to long on it Saturday because I found the corner piece I bought didn't fit the screw for the compressor and I didn't feel like drilling (broken drill) and I had to go to NJ. That when I started to scope out a different location and saw a great spot by the stock air horn. Thanks for the melt down info

-Coilovers handle great if you don't mind a slightly rougher ride... A little noisy but B. Catts is working on a solution.
