Recently I have contemplated selling the Max for an I30t.
I know emax95 did it and seems to be enjoying it.
Is there anyone else thinking about it?

Go for it !!

I'm very happy and have no regrets. It's going to be one hell of a ride when I get my SC in next week!

Nismomax, if you would like to check out a 5spd I30t in person, let me know and we can meet somewhere. I'm in Houston too.

if you already set your mind, then good luck and enjoy it.
if not, why not try something else? I30 is a nice version of Max, basicly the same car underneath. how about a VW or Audi 1.8T or CL type S likes? you know, different variaties.

Woodear, I was also checking out the A4. Someone was selling a 2001 model 1.8T Quattro 5spd, silver with black leather (my favorite). It's an awesome car if you don't haul friends/family around. The back seat room is pretty much non-existent.

true, but i usually don't carry people around, so i don't really care
also the way i see it, true max is more spacious than a A4 and 3/5 series bmw and many other cars, but on a short trip(less than 1hr), i can deal with a tight rear seats, and on a long trip(3-4+ hrs), i would not want to ride in the back of a max anyway, that's when a 740iL comes to play

If you'd consider an A4 Quattro...

Why not look at the Passat 4Motion? Cheaper, yet roomier than the A4.

I love I30's. One of my friend has a '98 and I kinda like it more than my '99 Maxima. However, I still think I30's it cost too much, and the money you save on a Maxima could go towards more mods.

Appreciate the offer, I might take you up on that. I have made up my mind to do it, but it might not happen until this summer. Things are so busy right now.

Woodear, I have thought about other options, but I like the nissan product, or glorified nissan product. That and the infiniti does not hold its value as well or so I have seen from the pre owned market, so I can get a great value for a used one. This will be my family car. The next new car will either be the skyline, stick IS300, or M3. I have also thought about the 300z convertible as a roadster pick-up. Too many cars so little time.
