Being that your piaa s/w h3 lasted only a couple of months I was wondering how the optilux h3's would work. Any opinions on whether or not there is increased visibility? Thanks in advance Shing.

I've held back on getting the hella optilux bulbs because there have been many reports of poor quality, ie blowing in 2 weeks. Infact I think they are all recalled if I am not mistaken. Until that's fixed, I'd recommend skipping it for now.

Shing's right...there are other choices >>
You can either splurge and get the PIAA SW H3s or you can go to

http://www.autooptiks.com

and order the Philips BlueVisions in H3.

how do the philips bv's h3 stack up against piaa sw h3. Has anyone ever had good or bad experiences philips bv h3's? I was also looking into raybrig h3 bulbs at the speedwerks site and man...... those bulbs are a tad bit expensive, those guys at speedwerks are pretty hungry to charge $62 for h3's.

the PIAA vs. Philips for the H3 bulb is the same as the 9004 debate.

Yes.. the Hellas blow. My friend had it in his car and they blew in like 3 weeks. Terrible!
