Hi

I need some SERIOUS advise!

I have a "black light" generator that plugs into my Cigarette lighter! Its about 5 inches long!

I got it for effect in my car!

THING is ... I've been reading that it does EYE Damage!!

Anyone know if this is true????

Is black light UV light??

Are you driving with them on all the time? If not, it shouldn't be a problem. Even if you do have them on all the time... well... isn't it distracting? I don't think it's harmful unless you stare at it 24/7.

Yes they're UV

Direct view of the bulb is probably bad (it hurt the eye just looking at it when we were using a stronger UV lamp to look for scorpions at night... don't ask why)

I don't know about reflected UV buy i think it's the same (just like getting sunburn while skiing)

I'm no expert though...
