I installed the TransGo kit today. Got it all back together and first gear acts like a trans brake! I used a little vaseline to keep the ***** in place; do you think that could be the problem. I let the car run for 30 minutes to melt the vaseline, but still no luck.

I tried calling TransGo product support at (626)443-7451 and got no answer so I called their sales line at (626)443-0991 and got a guy's answering machine with a message in chinese.

Any ideas? Anyone with good phone numbers?

Well, I finally got through to someone at TransGo. They seem to think that either a solenoid is bad or I got a ball in the wrong location. I'll put a volt-ohm meter to the wiring harness tomorrow to see if it's a solenoid (Which I doubt since they were working fine). So I guess it will come back out tomorrow.

Your right, I don't speak chinese. I just couldn't think of a one-word generic term for an unidentified oriental dialect. No offense was meant.
