Best Max Ever...Your Thoughts?
#41
I am really impressed over this thread. I am watching member respectfully voice their opinions *cough* Dave *cough* We had a thread like this before and the 3rd gen won the poll, but it turned into a flame war as always, just cause of that. It is about respect, I love both my Maximas, they do different things for me. But for some reason when I look at my 3rd gen I get a big smile and want to hold it, it is my baby and I truely love that thing to death.

I've driven a 93 SE 5spd, my 99 SE 5spd, 2k SE auto, and a 2k2 SE 6spd....my choice would be the 93....it drives more like a sports car than any other max, and it feels most solid. The 2k2 definitely for refinement, and my 99 for being the most nimble. That's my opinion =)

3rd gear grind, engine is less happy to rev than the 4th gen, suspension on 4th and 5th gen sucks in the rear end...and there are many potholes on my way to work here in Kansas City....even in turns..I don't know where Dave B drives, but I would love an independant rear suspension....
