My parents are all **** about letting me buy mods for my car. I really want new rims ( i hate the stock 96SE rims... yuck!) So i have saved up the $$ for used rims/tires, now I have to convince them that I need them for safty reasons. My main argument is going to be that the tires i have now are pretty dead, and for the price of a good set of tires I could practicly get used tires/rims. Any other ideas to persway them?
Thanks

I like to think it's safer in a blow out

I'm going for a 17" upgrade from my stock 16's. I'm just waiting for a really good deal for a set of 17" Lexus Gs400 wheels or moda R6's

You need bigger/wider rims to clear the big brake upgrade!
Obviously it's for safety then!
mebbe not? lol

btw, I'll have a set of 16x7 Konig Wildcards for sale real soon
Let me know if interested. I could put the tires in as well (225/55/16 SP 5000s) but we'd have to agree on a price before my new rims arrive as I'd need new tires.
