New Coilover Option

I have been trying to start my own line of products, the type X spoiler being the first I will be releasing under the name Altered State Peformance.
The next will be a coilover system. I have just received the sample from my manufacturer and it looks very well made. Unfortunately, because of the snow I have not yet been able to install it.
Before anyone asks, no pics. It looks just like the JICs, for example.

I am not a suspension expert, know very little in fact and I am still collecting info from the manufacturer.

The point of this post is to see if there really is an interest in this product and to collect some questions that I can give to the manufacturer.

Some things you should know:
- 5th gen and 4th gen applications will be available
- Pricing to be at least a couple hundred less than competitors without sacrificing quality
- I get to pick color scheme so I may have a poll of what color people generally like.

Totally off topic, but I seem to remember you having a 5Zigen muffler and was wondering if you could tell me where you got it at?

1. The most important part is the ability to rebuild the strut if it goes bad. Either that or have some nice lifetime warranty.

2. Adjustable strut body is a must if you want to compete with JIC

Now my question....Where is it made? Japan? Taiwan? China? or the good ole USA?

Is it going to work like the JICs, with shortened strut bodies, threaded brackets for full suspension travel at very low ride heights and camber plates?

Don't know exactly which model the exhaust was, it didn't say anywhere.. If you find a picture, I'll tell you if it was it.

What kind of spring rates will you offer? I'd like something extreme such as 800/600. Will that be possible?

Hmm....The front strut top mount has only two studs? Don't we have 3 studs? What about the rear? Reuse the OEM top mounts? If we have to reuse OEM top mounts, how is the front going to work?

I believe you are mixing up the pieces. Rears have 2 bolts, and come with a built on upper mount. The fronts must reuse the factory upper mounts, so there are no bolts on them.

I was thinking of buying some modified KYB AGX from Cattman for my 2k1, but good quality coilover for similar money would be awesome, dont forget no bling bling. Keep me in da loop.

There are quite a few coilover systems already, especially the FLT-A1us which are a damn good value (why can't they make it for a 4th gen???):

JIC look great but the price is a bit on the high side, and I dont autocross so for me canadian it would come to over 2G with installation, this is not talking about the winter and how it would baddly damage those beauty over time, so for me it doesn't worth to put that kind of money for this one thing alone.

If I can get a good quality coilover system for near the cost of KYB AGX then that would be another story.

Cheers

Hey man, what I meant is lets say KYB AGX + Dust Boots + 4th Gen strut mount is probably around 550 ( maybe more ) so let say the coilover goes for 600-700$ I would seriously consider buying it if the product is proven to be a direct fit and of good quality. JIC are really nice and good but maybe to good for the type of climate we have over here, after a winter or two in the calcium they would look like $hit, with the custom turbo I wanna built those 300-400$ saved on that kind of mods will be very usefull.

Cheers

One more thing I forgot, American eat " Filet Mignon" and chinese eat rice, so I'm shure the Asian country, can built many thing cheaper and better cuz the labor cost way much less over there, see what I mean.

Cheers
