Billet grille for a 00 max (not trenz)

I know that the 00-01 max's dont have an option of adding a trenz billet grille to their cars (I'm not too big a fan of the trenz anyway), but I was wondering if I would be able to make my own, or have a shop make it (just a plain billet grill going straight across, I think it would look better than any regular grille like the street scenes). Does anybody have any experiance working with billet material, if so, how hard do you think it would be to make something like this, or, does anybody know a good place on Long Island that does custom work for cars?

Thanks alot guys

Ok big h,

That grille needs to go into production. That is exactly what so many of us are looking for. How did you make it or who custom made it for you? Anyways, mad props on the grille.

Well, it was done in two parts...first the grille was purchased off of ebay. the grille was for a ford expedition...it was huge. I then knew that in order for the grille to sit flush with the bumper the original grille had to be cut out. I left around 3-4 inches on the left and right sides of the factory grille and proceeded to cut out the rest. the reason to leave that much on the sides is so that you have something to attach the billet grille too.I also got rid of the outter trimming of the grille too. once the opening was made I traced the full grille opening onto cardboard, which I traced onto my billet grille. i then traced the template with a dremel. by continuous trimming and fitting the grille into the opening, it fit.
now after having the grille that way, it just did not look right. it needed to be sunken in a bit. and it needed some sort of chrome trimming around it. so i came across a factory chrome outter trim on ebay and decided that's waht the grille required. so i bought it. now the grille had to be trimmed again to fit in the opening with the new trim in place...took some time but it worked. now my grill looks sunken in rather than flush with the bumper....which is way better if you ask me.
