Anybody have a Maxima(s) in AutoCAD (.dwg) format?

If anybody has any front, rear and side shots of a Maxima in ACAD, that would be great. I put exhibits together every so often and sometimes I place cars on the exhibit. I have some 'canned' cars in my block library: a van, a Porsche, a long Caddy, etc. but I thought it would be really fun to sneak a Maxima on the exhibits. Thanks.

I've been looking for one of these too, in any format really. The companies who make cars for use in models and drawings never seem to use Maximas. Probably because their beauty would distract viewers.

There was a site that you can buy a 5th gen model from. They had a list of different formats that you can choose from but they were kinda pricey for the model tho. If I find the url I'll post it here.

It's a 4th gen, just with what looks like a 5th gen front end and it looks like it might have cefiro headlights.

Your funny vsidesupratt1. You aren't serious are you. That is clearly a 5th. Rear Corner lights, Small triangle window behind rear window, Flush Side mirror mount, center conecting spoiler. My verdict is 5th gen.

I think it is still a 3D mesh even in dxf format. You can easily make a 2D version in AutoCAD though. Are you planning on paying for a membership?

Ditto...

I checked registration and its $49.99. That's too much to have a 3-D Max. Let me know if I can get it from you though...

Since you have a choice of file formats, most programs used for creating and editing 3D meshes will work. Programs such as Cad programs like AutoCAD or media programs like 3D Studio Max.

Too much for me too, maybe if we got a few people together to pitch in and share membership.

Yeah, I saw the price too. Not exactly what I wanted to spend for something that is only for fun. I would consider splitting it with you guys though. But even then, I would like to know exactly what we are getting first. Is there at least one free sample that they let you download?

I see their membership is a bit complicated. 50 bucks only gets you 5 downloads unless you upload a model to them. That is probably why they have so many models. That would make it somewhat difficult to share a membership. Maybe if someone contacts them if they would give us just the one model for a reduced price. Otherwise if we could get 5 people, that would only be 10 bucks a person, I could swing that. Then we could get the 5th gen, 4th gen interior and 2 other models.
