Correct me if I am wrong but I think the VE 92-94 was also DOHC.

Yes, that is correct. There is no Japanese Maxima and to my knowledge, there is no more Cerfio either.

Also the tiena has a cool interior and it is RWD.

The Nissan President is the top of the line model of Nissan. The current Q45 is the President over there...but it is better equipped (fold-down tray tables like Jaguar, etc.).

I think if it lost the ghey wheels (hubcaps?) and redid the front grille, it would look 100x better.

I am not sure, but from the sounds of it, they may be RWD, since most cars available as 2 or 4 wd are rear/awd variants.

It's not a RWD, it's a FWD, but they may release a AWD version here in NZ.

This will probably be the next I30/I35 replacement for you guys, as our Maxima's have all been the same as the I30/I35 line. Most of our Nissan's come from the US Infinity line, the G35 will be the new Skyline here.

I personally think it looks better then the US 04 Maxima :P Will be interesting to see if it gets better or worse reviews then it as well...

AWD would be nice, but it needs some more styling to be honest. Sounds like some big stuff is happening in NZ.

Yea our new 6th gen is pretty ugly...

Umm, the Teana has been on sale forever. Why the bashing?

It's actually a pretty nice car, and I think it actually looks pretty good

where is everyone getting this Q45/president crap from? body style is nowhere the same as the teana. teana is the slimmer JDM 6th gen maxima. replaced the cefiro.
