Warning
GTECH is very in-accurate and should not be use to claim 1/4 mile Times or Trap Speeds, GTECH should not be used to claim 0 - 60 speeds also.
However
GTECH is good for tracking the success of Modifications, such as knowing if you are .4 secs faster or .6 secs faster and so on...

it uses an accelerometer. I would guess that the innacuracies come from 2 main issues: the mounting system & the quality of the parts.
I would also think that run to run comparisons on your same car would be accurate enough. The actual time may not be right on, but the difference in times, say after a new mod, would be fine. Plus, it would be nice just to back up the butt dyno.

I didn't even notice they had a site
Personally i am sick of seeing the CL-S boys claim GTECH numbers.. one guy said 13.6 on headers .. blah blah blah..
ask dex.. nothing beats being at the track with 200 people looking at you.. the pressure, RT, ET, the lights, everything.. that where a 10 sec car can run 20 secs, its all about driver ability .. true 1/4 mile is ran at a track...
but its good for tracking your progress though.. just don't go around saying i run this on GTECH..
