What are the symptoms of a bad clutch slave cylinder and a clutch master cylinder? Right now my clutch pedal goes almost to the bottom with very little resistance. And near the bottom, the clutch pedal gets stiffer for like 2" and disengages. This just started happening this morning. The clutch does not slip, so I'm thinking that there might be a problem with the master cylinder or the slave cylinder. Any ideas?

 

how many miles on it? when the clutch disc and pressureplate fingers get really worn down it will get stiffer like that since now theres more travel that the pressure plate fingers have to release in order to clamp down on the disc

 

Like about 20k on a ACT street clutch. Wierd thing it doesn't slip, not even while spraying.
