A friend ,ordered me some Macpherson Struts, which cost me $60.00 for both fronts. Well as I was looking at the struts I see a locking screw that wll enable you to change the cartidge out. Now my question is will the Koin cartidge fit in this housing, and what is 30cc oil? In the instructions, it says that after you remove the body locking screw and take out the internal parts, you need to install 30 cc oil and reinstall the cartidge, and the body locking nut. So instead of cut the stock strut housing, can ,I use these.

The oil is in there for cooling purposes. Its allows heat from the cartridge to transfer to the strut body. You could just use the old oil if you have to.
