Well, I don't mine if I have about 1-2 passengers in the car. It bugs me when I have more. Having a 2nd gen that is lowered, with 3-4 people in the car, including my heavy *** stereo equipment, the car bottom outs really easy. Plus I get really annoyed if someone starts ****ing with my stereo....I have a few that will change the station, or mess with the settings etc....

my girl has grown the habit of locking the passenger side door because she is afraid of falling out. That used to be cool since every other car that i've owned would unlock all the doors once she unlocks her door to get out, but as we know our cars leave the driver locked in and its the most annoying thing and she doesn't seem to understand that she keeps on locking me in the car. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it drives me nuts

 

I don't mind, for one reason the only person I am taking around is my girlfriend or little brother. The most I've ever had in the back is 1 person.

I never listen to the radio, I always have CDs in, so my girlfriend never messes with it, because she likes the music I like it. The only person to ever mess with the radio was my older brother. He put on rap, and I'm not a big rap fan, and that annoyed me.

 

If I had better friends, I suppose I wouldnt mind taking them in the car. The people in the front seat get in and then lock the door and all doors lock. Then they lean the seat way back nearly all the way down and start relaxing. Then they get bored and start playing with the radio. I also hate having people in the back, because the car doesnt handle the same.

People assume that since Ive got the most economic vehicle in my group of friends, Im the one that hauls everyone around. I dont even have a say in it anymore. My friend has a 97 suburban, but since mine gets better mileage, 8 of us try to pile in my car.

Also, like someone else said, people get out of the car, and kick the door panels, and then slam the door.

One of my friends has this annoying habit of leaving his drinks on the roof of my car at lunch. So, I'll roll all the windows down, then drive away with the drink on the roof, and it spills on the rear seats. It's happened twice.

I would rather drive alone. I get to relax, be in control, and it gives me time to think.

 

This is exactly how I feel. I also find it annoying to have to use the brakes a little harder because of the extra weight, not to mention a pothole feels a lot worse when there are 3 extra people in your car.

I also hate having to drive anyone home for some reason, sometimes I dont mind, but usually - when its time to leave for me, I want to go straight home without having to go all around town. And when I want to stay somewhere and someone needs a ride, I usually try to avoid being asked.

 

My girlfriend is the only person I enjoy having sitting in my car with me...one of my friends decided banging...no, smashing on my passenger side door panel like 20 times to test the build quality of the car was ok. Guys in general annoy me, our immaturity is pretty ridiculous

 

You guys complaining about other ppl messing with stuff...why dont you just tell them it annoys you? I've gone off on a few friends about stuff like that...

 

I hate having people in the car because they always point out that I shift rough.

I dunno, I'm used to it. I dont like slipping the clutch and the exedy grabs quickly. I dont even notice it, but other passangers sometimes mention it. I smooth it out a few times just to show them I can, but then its back to normal for me

 

Wow..this is the biggest B!tching session I have ever read!!! Hehe..made me laugh a little though...I guess I really don't care for ppl in the back either...the only ppl I like in the passenger seat is my wife, and my really good friends...oh and smoking is a big no-no in my car...which is good...becase less people will ride with me because of that...oh well...I don't feel like getting cancer cuz of them anyway.

 

baobao and dodo are allowed in my car 24-7 another good excuse to say "my car is full"...

 

Let's just say sometimes I really wish I'd bought a 2-seater like I wanted when I was a teenager...

 

Geez, I can't believe y'all have trouble w/ folks in your car. I have no trouble out of folks (except those wanting to be funny and start playing w/ stuff). When they get out of line, I tell them how it is, and everybody's been cool. They undestand my car is my happy place.
1. Don't ask to drive my car.
2. No eating or drinking in the car (unless it's a road trip and i'm trying to make really good time). Don't even think about smoking. Moms even gets in the car and will stop eating what she's got in her hands.
3. The car is MY cockpit and it's a dicatorship, which means the passenger touches nothing...radio, A/C, radar detector, NOTHING. You have a window, and if you abuse that priviledge, I'll take that from you too.
4. Put a foot or shoe anywhere but on the floor, and you'll be walking. I don't want to see them on my dashboard or in the seat.
5. It's my car, so my music (goes back to #3).
6. NO PETS.

 

You all just need better friends.

None of my friends have ever disrespected my cars and I've never had any trouble with taking any amount of people in my cars.

 

all my friends drive ****boxes and treat my car just like 1 too and just because my ride is far superior to theirs doesn't mean i'm their taxi


i have people *****in that my radar detector is annoying and knock it off the window trying to turn it off... and then say what a piece of **** it is because it didn't go off when it didn't go off when a random cop drives by... not that i havent described to them 2000 times that cops dont have their radar guns on all the time... every time someone says that i want to backhand them.
and then every time 1 of my friends is in my car and i'm accelerating off a light he goes "is that all you got" WTF!!! its not as if he has the ***** to ever race me when were both driving...

 

You have a window, and if you abuse that priviledge, I'll take that from you too.

I also hate when ppl get all comfy and place their feet!!! on the dashboard!! Fortunately I don't have this happen to me like, ever, but I see it ALL the time in other ppl's vans and SUVs and things and it makes me wanna scream at them. Who wants your big ugly, stinky feet on the dash! And it looks so dumb!

 

I hate it when they ask can I drive your car. Comon ill be carefull is what they say, but I say No let me stick my foot up your @$$, cause they ask so much!!!

 

About the friends driving your car .. . . I'll let my friends drive my car, under the condition that I can drive theirs. . . hell, i'd even let some of my friends borrow my car for 20 mins to go to the store to get cigarettes or what not. . . .but this only applies to my friends who would return the favor. . .. to my friends who would not trust me with their car, I do not let them drive my car. . . .I guess its a spiteful thing? I dunno, its just the way it works. But in general I let people drive my car, as long as I can drive theirs. If I think about it, no one can really drive it harder than I can .

 

oh yea mee too , i don't mind like me and my girl or what ever but someone in the back seat just bugs, i just feel anoyed, so i took out my back seats, and if anyone wants to ride, there is plenty of room in the trunk, or get ur own car and pay your own gas, and i HATE people turning down my music just so they can talk on the phone or just want to talk, its my car i do what ever i want so don't ever touch my radio/cd player, cause u didn't pay for it. enjoy or get da fucc out.

 

If they have to talk to me, I dont mind too much . . . nor do I mind if theyre on the phone for a minute, but if theyre on the phone for 20 mins, thats disrespectful to me.

 

ha ha ha ! So funny !! When ceasar and I first got married, I used to leave candy in the door, crumbs in the seat and mess with the radio. he'd jump all over me about it and i was like, what an **** retentive... I see he is not alone! ha ha

But, when we started modding the car, and I actually started helping to clean, care pick out mods, it was like.... whoooo, this is a lot of work, and ya learn to 'respect' it alot more.

Now, we only take one passenger, our baby, and she's the only person free to throw hamburger and french fries around the car at whim.......his momma rode with us once, but I think if we have to all go somewhere, she'd rather ride in her own car. Ours is "too stiff and noisy" ...

I wouldnt care if someone spit on the carpet if it were a rental car I was driving. And I wouldnt care if someone put their feet on the dash if I was driving their car. . . . but if I am driving MY CAR (the 1997 MAXIMA SE I own). .. everything seems to bother me.

 

I hate music critics complaining about MY music, biligirant drunks, non-gear heads that ask gear head questions, front passengers that don't like the window down during nice weather, and folks that don't offer gas money when you're doing them a favor. To me it's not how many passengers, just what kind.

 

Sounds like you have some rude friends.....why don't you just "ask" them not to put feet on the dash, change radio, etc....? What is wrong with people changing the (I assume) passenger seat position? Don't you want them to be comfortable? Now feet on the dash...that would be annoying, but no one has ever done that in my car....I would never think to do that in someone else's car, it's pretty rude!!!

I like having friends in the car so they can see how much better my whip is than theirs! (except several of them have maxes too)...even if it does hurt handling a little. Hell, I'm not doing autocross with 4 people, I'm trying to drive "nice" so my passengers are not all flying around everywhere!!!

 

Its not that my friends are rude. . .some of them just dont realize how special and personal of an object my car is to me. They figure if they dont like the music in it, they change it, theres nothing wrong with that, but it just bothers me. You see, its not that some of my friends are intentionally trying to **** me off, its just that I get easily annoyed when people **** around in my car. Oh and I HATE when people turn the radar detector down, if they dont want to hear the constant beeping, they could easily have taken their own damn car. When I ride in someone elses car I do not **** with the controls, I dont slam the doors, and I dont kick the door panels. . . I wish people did the same for me.

Im a pretty friendly person, dont get me wrong - but when im going out of my way to do someone a favor, they should use common sense as far as respecting someones' property (car).

 

Amen to that. I'm a windows/sunroof guy. and when I drive at highway speeds, I open the vents and the sunroof and feel the air that just comes in, and it's fine for me. Folks get in the car talking about "aren't you hot" and "is your A/C broken". Impulse is to say "if you'd stop talking it wouldn't be so hot in here", but usually just give them an evil look and refocus on the road. Unless it's moms or a good looking female, then the A/C goes on low. But if you're moms or are ugly, be quiet and enjoy the breeze.

 

Dont you hate it when you tell the person not to slam your trunk or door and they do it anyway?

 

i hate it when people use their foot to open the door THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE HANDS !!!! last person that did that got their shin kicked. i usually dont let people in unless its one person in the front. if im hauling people I use my 98 altima. For crusin i use the maxima

 

my peeves are when people change the radio. Because of that I went out and bought a sony with the flip down face. Do not touch my damn vent controls or fart in my car

 

I think we must all rebel!!! If your in that annoying persons car, feel free to cross your legs, play with the window switch's, mess around with the door locks, move the seats every which way, Eat food and drop crumbs all over, and most importantly... Keep playing with the radio!!! (and for aLtWeEzY you can fart all you like!)

the other day i give this kid i know a ride to work so he takes the liberty to spark up a "J" in my car. i don't say anything and act like everything's coo, as soon as he passes it over to me i roll the window down and chuck it far away from my car... i tell him next time bring a bowl.

Yeah I can completely agree that I would be ****ed off also if people messed with the heat and radio and stuff but for some reason they never mess with it unless I let them do so. (like changing the cd while I am busy shifting etc) so I don't have to kill them. My one big annoyance is people who complain either

A. My Subwoofer which to be honest isn't that loud
B. No rear speakers so they cant hear any words only bass (like I care)
C. People who ask you to turn down music cuz they are on the cell phone. Especially when it has nothing to do with like where we are going or who we are meeting but some stupid girl talk that seems to last forever and occurs during my favorite songs.
D. People who slam my door/trunk like it is a 70-80's GM monster (ie Delta 88)
E. From my old maxima a kid sat on my hood and put a large but barely noticeable cept to me dent that I could always see when I detailed my car.

Other then that at least in the new car nobody eats or smokes or does anythign really stupid. Btw best way to take care of rowdy back seaters is Pink Floyd- The Machine(huge bass song the name might be off) that usually gets them to shut up since they can't hear cuz of intro bass. I think people just realize how much this car means to me after seeing how much I clean it and do to it. And stick prevents most from even asking to drive it.

they arent your friends if they dont respect your stuff. and plus you gotta regulate if theyre doin stuff you dun want in your car. my buds respect everything i do and i do the same to them. if they ask to do anything like eat or fiddle with the radio/cd, or whatevers, im cool with that but if they dont ask, it dont happen.

 

I hate having passengers. I like to turn my music up and let my subs bang in my ear.. Sounds like a jet breaking the sound barrier. And when my girls in the car, she doesnt like it loud. Im like shutup bish! lol Actually I "Abide".

 

it ****es me off when passengers eat in my car, it ****es me when people in the back seat up finger prints on the rear doors and not closing the door w/ the handles.

 

hell yeah!!!!!!!!!! Don't eat, dont drink and damn sure dont smoke in my car! And dont spill your DIP!

 

i cut the bottom straight piece of hanger off and kept it by my seat for a while and beat my friends hands and wrists (whatever i caught) if they touched any thing but the doorhandle. i HATE people touching my car especially after i cleaned it. everyones like you got the 4 door lets take your car. then i tell them when they get respect for the maxima i might let them sit in the front. then i told them they can go if i can duct tape their hands together......

 

i just dont like clumsy ox type people that swing their legs in and out of the car like big stumps and kick my doors.

i use a remote for the radio

 

Grr.. Ive never really thought about it but now that i think about it i hate ppl riding with me. Except for my gf of course who has great respect for my max and doesnt mess with her at all. Besides her all my other friends lean up and touch the radio, dont wear there seat belts, mess with windows, opens there door going down the highway, SPILL COKE ON MY SEAT!, DROP FREEDOM FRIES(haha) on the floor and between the seats, listen to rap more then i want to, adjust the seats

My ex, ugh really got 2 me always talked about the car she was going 2 get, never shut up and always moved all my vents onto her! and when it was cold too! OHH and what i really hate is when all my friends yell at my for parking at the very end of the parkin lot and makin them walk bc i dont want no damn carts hitting my car! So i just kick here *** out at the door and then leave early 2 go get it so there lazy *** doesnt have 2 walk in the cold! GRRR anybody else hate that?

Also right after i go wash the car for about 2 hours and vaccum it and clean the windows in detail, so its all nice and purrty for the friday nite strip ride, they go and stick there hands all over the window and knock there feet off on my clean floor mats. Oh and when they see a hot girl in the next car over they go and smash there face on the window!

Lastly... THE SUMMER when they all get out of the pool and hot tub! they just run and plop there wet *** all over my seat! I HATE THAT!

So i just prefer my dad or my gf who respect my baby.
